This renovation transformed two inter-connected units in a 1990s condo building into a luxurious, wheelchair accessible family vacation home. The overhaul included raising ceiling heights, adding steel studs & installing sound-proof insulation in all interior & adjoining walls, and exterior spray foam. A new dedicated electrical panel, a new sprinkler system & two integrated HRVs for fresh air circulation (without penetrating the building envelope) were installed. The reimagined floor plan features a new corridor connecting the units and a new primary suite. Premium finishes included wide-plank European oak flooring, custom white oak cabinetry throughout. Bathrooms were upgraded with steam showers, heated benches, lighted fog-free mirrors, invisible drains, Starphire ultra-clear glass enclosures & curb-less entry. Additional upgrades included automated blinds, a push-button entry door, Wolf & Miele appliances, Nuheat bathroom floors, advanced fire/flood detection systems and integrated strobe lighting with visual & audible fire alarms. This meticulously designed renovation offers a harmonious blend of luxury, functionality & modern accessibility.
