Project Description

Set on two private acres within Whistler’s exclusive Southlands enclave, this west coast contemporary estate reflects a disciplined integration of modern mass-timber construction and refined architectural design. Extensive post-and-beam structure celebrates British Columbia craftsmanship while delivering structural integrity and long-term durability. Exceeding Step 4 energy code standards, the residence is engineered for exceptional performance—balancing environmental responsibility with uncompromising comfort.
The main house is anchored by a dramatic great room, where floor-to-ceiling triple-pane glazing frames uninterrupted views of Wedge Mountain and Whistler Mountain. A gourmet kitchen with central island and discreet butler’s pantry is designed for both daily family life and elevated entertaining. Four ensuite bedrooms, a dedicated office, and thoughtfully separated wet and dry mudrooms reinforce functional planning, while the lower level expands into a fully appointed games room, wine room, media lounge, sauna, steam room, and professional-grade over-height gym. A detached multi-purpose studio provides flexibility for creative, recreational, or guest use.
A natural rock wall and pristine forest envelop the rear grounds, creating a rare sense of seclusion and permanence. The landscape design works in concert with the architecture, grounding the home in its alpine setting while maximizing privacy and year-round usability.
